Dr. Smith is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Medicine physician. He specializes in interventional pain procedures and minimally invasive surgical treatments to alleviate pain.
Dr. Smith received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Biology from Georgia State University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine at Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Smith then completed his Anesthesiology internship at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, and his residency in Anesthesiology at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). Dr. Smith completed advanced fellowship training in interventional pain medicine at OUHSC.
Dr. Smith is now welcoming new patients in our Athens location.
