Meet Our Team
Debra L. Helton is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) as well as a Board Certified Medical Lab Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
Debra brings more than thirty years of medical and clinical research experience. Due to her strong organizational, detail-oriented insistence and interpersonal skills, she was able to quickly move into clinical research leadership roles. She has combined her passion for medicine and research as a Lead Study Coordinator, Clinical Research Manager and now serves as our Director of Clinical Research Operations with Horizon Clinical Research.
While working with numerous clinical research organizations (CROs) and sponsor companies, she has proven her adherence to standard operating procedures, good clinical practice and FDA regulations. Debra’s unique blend of in-house and in-the-field experience has led to her success in managing a multitude of Phase II-IV and post-marketing clinical trials while bringing forth positive and timely trial results. Debra’s research interests primarily include pain management and neurology. Along with Dr. Sandeep Vaid and a team of highly qualified physicians and site staff, we are bringing cutting edge treatments to the community and advancing clinical medicine.
