Alexa Moreira, MD

Alexa Moreira, MD is a fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine physician dedicated to delivering compassionate, cutting-edge care. She completed her Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at Rush University in Chicago, IL, following her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami. Dr. Moreira earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. She is double ACGME board-certified.

With a strong foundation in both medicine and innovation, Dr. Moreira is passionate about advancing the field of pain management and is committed to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life. She is excited to welcome new patients in Atlanta and Sandy Springs.
